When creating production tracking, we may get the error message that “work order cannot be tracked” in SageX3. Follow the following navigation path
Navigate to:- Manufacturing > Planning > Work order

Navigate to:- Manufacturing > Production tracking > Production tracking
I have created a work order WOzaj010022. Now I am trying to create a production tracking using this work order. So, I got the below error message. Refer the screenshots 2 and 3 for a better understanding

To solve this error message, we need to go to the specified work order and change the work order status Planned to Firm. Refer to the below screenshot 4-

After saving the work order changes, go to the production tracking screen and try to create production tracking. It will allow you to create the tracking without error.
