A developer may come across a situation where they need to determine if a transaction is in progress within a process. Adxlog can be used in Sage X3V12, where return value is of type ShortInt.
Adxlog shows whether or not an upgrade transaction is in progress in Sage X3 ERP.
Syntax to be followed-
Adxlog (Shortint) returns two values: 0 or 1.
- 0 – No Transaction in Progress.
- 1 – Transaction in Progress.
Here we can follow an Example as in the screenshot below:
Points to note-
- If Adxlog value is 0 then only a new transaction will begin.
- If Adxlog value is 1 then Transaction in Progress.
Here, a new transaction will only begin if Adxlog value is 0 (i.e No transaction is underway).
