Learn how to troubleshoot and resolve the “Already Occupied Single-Product Location” error in Sage X3 V12 efficiently. In the above screenshot, at the line level, multiple products are assigned to the same location type (LOA) and location (LOAN000005). So, the system pushes the error message “Already-occupied single-product location.”
Follow the below process to achieve this error message.
Navigate to: Common Data > Product Tables > Location Type
Go to the Location type under the Common Data module, as shown in screenshot 2.
Select the location LOA on the left list in the location type function. Please refer to Screenshot 3.
In the above screenshot, location type LOA is set to single-product; that’s why miscellaneous receipts will not accept multiple products at the line level.
Uncheck the single-product option and save the changes. Please refer to screenshot 4 below for a better understanding.
Now try to create the miscellaneous transaction with multiple products for the ZAJ01 site to the location type LOA and location LOAN000005. Please refer to screenshot 5 below for a better understanding.
