In Sage X3 crystal reports, sometimes we must print a field as the barcode. For that, we must follow the steps below.
Step 1: First, we must open the report in the Crystal Reports app. Refer to Screenshot 1.
Step 2: Next, we have to add a formula, and for that, click on formula fields in Field Explorer and click on new. Refer to Screenshot 2.
Step 3: Next, add the formula name and click okay. Then, a formula field is added in the field explorer. Refer to Screenshot 3.
Step 4: Next, we have to add the formula as “*”+BarcodeC39(FIELD)+”*.” Refer to Screenshot 4.
Step 5: Next, add that formula in the report, and we must add font type as ‘Code39AzaleaRegular3’ in the Format editor of that field and save the report. Refer to Screenshot 5.
