In Sage X3 V12, If there is a requirement to pop up a file selection window for a button, follow the below steps to achieve it.
Step 1: Navigate to All—-Development—-Script dictionary—-Windows (GESAWI). Refer to screenshot 1.
Step 2: Select the Window for which we need to add a button. Refer to screenshot 2.
Step 3: Add a button in the selected window record. Refer the screenshot 3.
Step 4: Write the code in the object script to pop up a file selection window. Refer to the Screenshot 4.
Step 5: Open the function, check the added button, and click on that button. Refer the Screenshot 5.
Step 6: A popup file selection window will be displayed when we click on the added button. Refer to the below screenshot 6.
