In this blog, we will learn how to import Menu items in Sage X3 enterprise management, V12. When we work on Sage X3, we need to create menu items or landing pages in multiple environments. In this case, a Sage X3 user can create those in only one environment and import them into other environments. For that Sage X3 provides an option called the Import tool.
Follow the below procedure to import menu items/pages in Sage ERP X3 Version 12
- Login to the Endpoint(folder) in which menus are to be created
- Navigate to: Administration –> Utilities –> Imports –> Import tool.

- Navigating to the Import tool, you will be navigated to the below window as shown in Screenshot#2

- There are multiple options for selection, if you select the server file option it will browse from the server location and import the file.
- Click on the Import button from the right pane.

- The selection option is direct input then you copy the content from the file and paste it in the “Content to Import (JSON)” section.
- Click on the Import button from the right pane.
- All the Menu items including the Module, sub-module will get created in your endpoint.
