In this blog, we will learn how to set the default location list on the product site in Sage X3V12. In addition to that, we must add the location list in product – category function level, because the modifications are linked to the product site. Follow the steps and screenshot below to understand how is it done-
Navigate to: – Common data > Products > Product – Site
Sage ERP user needs to go to the Management tab and select the Location management check box, the next step is to save the modifications, for the following image to be displayed:

This means we need to make the changes in product – category function level.
Navigate to: – Common data > Products > Product – category
Go to the Management tab and select the Location management check box. The next step is to save the modifications which will enable the dedicated location filed. Refer to image 2 for a better understanding-

If you observe the above image is any location added in the dedicated locations. Add the list of the locations that you want then save the modifications. Refer to the below image 3-

The next step is to enable the location management check box Product – site function. This will display the list of the default locations. Refer to the below image 4.
