To create a contact class in Acumatica ERP the following steps can be followed:
Step 1: In main menu select Marketing Module:
Then under Preference category select Contact Class form (CR205000) and on open it after opening the form on the form toolbar, click the Add button to create a new Contact class, as shown in Screenshot 1, 2 and 3-
Step 2: In the summary area Specify the following details:
- Class ID: The unique identifier of the lead class.
- Description: A brief description of the lead class. An alphanumeric string of up to 30 characters can be used.
To prevent users of the Self-Service Portal from seeing any records from the class Select Internal Check box, as shown in screenshot 4 below-
After specifying the details on the form toolbar click Save.
