In this blog, we will learn how to fix index incorrect errors in Sage X3. Index incorrect error occurs when the screen length is less than the fields we have taken, as in Screenshot 1. To fix this error, follow the below steps.
Navigation: All–>Development–>Script dictionary–>Screens.
- In the general tab, in the lines column, increase the value to a larger number to allow more records. Then click on the save button and do validation.
- For example, here, I have selected the YPORDERD screen. On that screen, the screen length is 10, but I have taken 15 fields so that it shows the index incorrect error. To fix this error, enter the screen length greater than the number of fields, as shown in Screenshot 2:
