Tips: How to display pop up notifications in Acumatica

A dependable ERP system is an invaluable tool for any business looking to track and evaluate sales performance. In this blog, Acumatica users can gain key insights on how to display pop-up notifications in Acumatica.  

There might be scenarios where the users would like to set a pop-up notification in the system for any record/transactions. The pop-up notes can be used to implement such type of notifications. 

Let us assume that the user would like to set up a pop-up notification whenever there is an order being placed for a particular stock item. The pop-up notification would notify the users that the order can be placed for a maximum of 10 quantities at a time. Hence, to implement the below mentioned are the steps: 

  1. Login to Acumatica site. 
  1. Navigate to Stock Items (IN202500) form and click on the required stock item for which the pop-up notification is to be set. 
  1. Click on the Notes button (Screenshot 1).

4. Check marks the Add pop-up Note checkbox which would open the Pop-up Note section. Enter the text which is to be displayed whenever any order is created for this stock item as shown in the screenshot 2 below.

  1. And click on the OK button. 
  1. And at last, click on the Save button on the form toolbar. 
  1. Upon saving we can see that the Notes icon has been highlighted stating that notes have been added.

Now whenever an order is placed for the stock item the system would display the pop-up notification as shown below.

9. And similarly, a warning message would also be displayed as shown below.

  1. As a result, the pop-up notes notification can be set up in the system.
