In Sage X3 V12, a user may face a glitch while trying to change from one folder to another folder or while login into the system. The error message may read like: “Create session error: The folder version is different from the version of the root folder” while the Sage X3 V12 system shows Administration the module only, like in the screenshot below-
Why this Error?
The error as discussed above may occur when the child folder patch is different to the X3 reference folder patch.
Error Resolution
Integrate the patch for the child folder, to match it to an equal level of the X3 patch level. Note that X3 and Child folder must be having the same patch level.
