In Sage X3, the left list will be more useful to select any record, Sage X3 has more flexibility to modify the left list as per requirement. Sometimes we might need to add a new field or remove the field from the left list then follow the below process to achieve this.
Let’s take the Sales order object and see how to add a new field in the left list.
Go to Sales order and choose the field which field we wish to add to the left list.
There are many fields that already have been added to the left list. Choose the field which we need to add to the left list. Ex: Wish to add Sales order type in the left list.
Go to Object
Step 2: Path: All > Development > Script Dictionary -> Objects
Select the sales order object code (SOH)
Go to the “Selection” tab.
Add the field which we want to add and click the save button and validate the object after saving done.
Go back to the Sales order and check the left list.
